Dr. So Young Park earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she distinguished herself through academic excellence and research. Her expertise in advanced teeth whitening and fixed prosthodontics earned her multiple awards, and she was a recipient of academic scholarships throughout her program.
Dr. Park understands the importance of great oral hygiene, especially in children, as she personally underwent extensive dental work at a young age. This experience fueled her passion for pediatric dental care. During her senior externship at St. Luke’s Hospital, she treated children with advanced tooth decay, reinforcing her commitment to early oral health education. She strongly encourages her youngest patients to develop healthy dental habits from an early age.
